Aisha jamila Hinds has been an American actor for over 10 years. Her credits are in The Shield as well as True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance with an acting role in 2003. She was first noticed for her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the documentary film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood to play the lead role on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit).
