Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rap musician who has a unique style. Baker was born 22 April 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into an extended family of English Scottish and German descent. When he was a kid Baker, he spent a good amount of time travelling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker, his father, suffered depression as well as unemployment. His mother Sonia Alane had left him when he turned nine. Baker along with his father and their aunt moved between Denver and moved to Denver. Baker was bullied because he lived in poverty by the other kids. When he reached the sixth grade, Baker was able to take up rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22nd, 1989 in Texas. With his music, he is known for mixing modern hip-hop styles along with classic rock. Baker has released four mixtapes in from 2007 to 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive rise when, in 2011, he made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known labels. The following years saw every single album of his was ranked at the top of the charts.
